Description

In this beginner course, Skill Samurai provides foundational computer science training using Python. Covering key coding concepts such as basic conditionals, loops, and print statements, we build a series of progressively more rigorous projects that provide a solid foundation in Python programming

Students will build multiple games from scratch using Python code and learn about functions, loops, collision detection, game logic and more!

In this camp students will:

  •  Create a Mad Libs Style Text Game
  •  Create cool art designs
  •  Create a coin-collecting game
  • Create an underwater survival game!
  •  Learn Python Programming
  • Learn about Coordinates, Variables, Variable Types, and Classes
  •  Embark on 10 Epic Quests
  •  Complete 53 Coding Challenges
  •  Customize your Player and Enemy fishes
  •  Eat Enemies to make your fish grow

Recommended for students ages 10 and up
